As with all of our products, we never use artificial colours, or preservatives. We ethically source our ingredients, and buy as local as possible. We never use any GM or potential GM contaminated ingredients in our products. All products are endorsed and approved by Vets.

How do you deliver your parcels carbon neutrally?

We're proud to deliver you dog food in the most planet-friendly ways possible. Part of our eco commitments is to deliver our products carbon neutrally to our customers.

We do this by firstly measuring our carbon footprint. We have developed a detailed understanding of our emissions and impact. With this insight, we constantly seek ways to reduce the CO2 we produce.

How are your foods cooked? Are they oven baked?

Our foods are gently cooked. First we use an extrusion process to mix the wet and dry ingredients which is then put into a machine to cook at a much lower temperature than traditional methods, approx 90°C, which leaves much more of the natural nutrients intact, protects the proteins and kills any microbiological risk. The extruder is a short time process which minimizes losses in vitamins and amino acids. This means more proteins are readily available resulting in digestibility levels higher than 90% which in turn means less waste.

How do I switch or transition to Clydach foods?

To transition, mix your dog’s current food with his new food. Over 10 days, gradually decrease the amount of the current dog food while increasing the amount of new dog food.

Starting at 10% Clydach and 90% existing food, and 90% Clydach and 10% previous food on day 10.
